Brisa will award the best students team in Green Technologies and Strategic Management of Técnico’s Bioengineering Department.

Target audience and application conditions

All groups of Técnico students enrolled in the curricular unit of Green Technologies and Strategies Manegement in the Técnico Bioengineering Department are candidates for the Merit Award.

Rules and Conditions

1. 1. The assessment consists of a short public presentation (5 minutes), focusing on the learning principles explored in the practical challenge. This will be followed by a short discussion (5 minute Q&A) of the results obtained and the main implications.
   2. The pitch will be assessed on the following parameters:
   a) Understanding of the challenge.
   (b) the ability to apply and extend the learning techniques taught in order to meet the challenge;
   c) degree of innovation; quality of written/oral communication.
   d) The rigour and relevance of the results obtained.
   3. Students in the winning group will only be eligible for one merit prize awarded in similar initiatives in the same academic year.

Prize

• Monetary prize, to be given to Student, amounting to € 2.600;
• Donation for the improvement of the education quality, in the amount of € 1.735.
