Pan European Seal

The Pan-European Seal Programme is a paid internship program offered by the EPO (European Patent Office) and the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) for students and alumni from some of Europe’s leading universities.

Instituto Superior Técnico is one of the partners and invites its students and recent alumni to participate in this program and experience working for a year at a European institute dedicated to Intellectual Property.

Since the program’s inception, over 25 students and alumni from Técnico have been selected to work in various departments of EUIPO and EPO. This year could be your turn!

What does this program entail?

It’s a trainee program offered by the EPO and EUIPO.

It involves a 12-month paid internship at the EUIPO office in Alicante or the EPO office in Munich. The salary ranges between 1,200 and 2,200 euros per month.

How can I apply?

The first step is to apply through Técnico within the application deadlines (typically starting in January each year). Técnico prepares a shortlist of selected candidates and submits it to the institutions, which then continue the selection process.

What will the work be like?

Interns are integrated into departments at EUIPO in Alicante or EPO in Munich. Some of the advantages include:
