Imagine yourself entering a new workspace, a new hotel room or a university. How would you like to be welcomed and what would you like to know about the space and the team? This challenge aims at the design and technological implementation of a possible interactive story to make a new user feel easily integrated in a new environment.

As the proposed solution can be applied in different contexts, the challenge can be adapted for the onboarding of new employees in a company. Imagine yourself as a new employee in a company. How would you like to be received and what would you like to know about the company, the team and the project?

This challenge aims at the design and technological implementation of a possible interactive story to make a new employee feel easily integrated into the company and the team.

The solution may involve an intelligent agent that guides and answers the user’s questions based on a set of previously defined contents.

How can I make my router more inclusive?

One of the current challenges we have in our current Internet equipments is the absence of tools/solutions that allow blind people to know the current state of the router (off, flashing, on). Considering that these equipments don’t have a physical interface (like a TV remote control), we intend with this challenge to find solutions that integrating the state of the router Leds with NLP can help these equipments to be more inclusive.

An office of all for all.

In a society that is increasingly concerned with inclusion, it is extremely important that offices are prepared for everyone. Following some guidelines about accessibility in offices, we intend to develop a solution that through real photographs of key points in an office (stairs, bathrooms, meeting rooms, desks) indicates if that place is adequate or if it should be improved.
