Técnico renews collaboration protocol with Deloitte.
The official collaboration between the School and the company has already led to the renovation of study spaces, among other improvements.
On 19 December, the Computer Engineering Pavilion I on the Alameda campus saw the renewal of the partnership protocol between Instituto Superior Técnico and the consultancy firm Deloitte. The ceremony was attended by Técnico’s president, Rogério Colaço, and representatives of the company, as well as various members of the academic community representing bodies such as the Pedagogical Council, Departments and the Técnico Students’ Association.
“If, after three years, we’re here renewing our vows and increasing the intensity of the connection, that means we’re on the right track,” said Rogério Colaço, speaking before signing the renewal. “What we’re doing here is something relatively innovative in our country; it’s opening the university’s doors to partners and employers, creating several important things with this openness,” added Técnico’s president.
