IP Talks: Sessions on Intellectual Property

 

IP Talks are lunchtime information sessions, especially geared towards researchers, faculty members, Master’s and PhD students, and also anyone with an interest in the impact of Intellectual Property on scientific work, even without prior experience in the topic.

Each session lasts around two hours, including time for lunch, discussion, and Q&A, and revolves around a timely and relevant theme in the field.

IP Talks are back next academic year!

Why take part?

IP Talks are a great opportunity to:

  • Clarify doubts about patents, copyright, trademarks, and other legal topics
  • Learn about real research cases protected by intellectual property rights
  • Share experiences with colleagues from different scientific backgrounds

When and where?

IP Talks #2 – “Prior Art Search”
In this session, we will provide participants with an in-depth exploration of Prior Art Searches, a crucial aspect of Intellectual Property research. Our goal is to shed light on the significance of staying updated with the latest advancements in various fields, ensuring the protection and innovation of intellectual assets. This session will be lead by Susana Rodrigues, Patent Consultant at Inventa Internacional, SA.
