Técnico and KPMG seal a strategic partnership

KPMG is the latest addition to Técnico’s Partner Network.

It was last Friday, January 14th, that the consulting and auditing company and Instituto Superior Técnico formalized the partnership.

The president of Técnico, Rogério Colaço, welcomed KPMG, highlighting the value that Técnico attributes to these partnerships: “If there is one thing that small open economies like Portugal cannot do, it is waste talent”, he stressed.

KPMG is a global network of independent firms that provide audit, tax and consulting services.

In Portugal, KPMG has offices in Lisbon and Porto and has more than 1000 employees.

The company combines innovative approaches with extensive experience providing excellent service to its customers.

NOS joins Técnico Partner Network

This Monday, December 20, NOS joined the Técnico Partner Network.

“Técnico attracts the best talent of our country, and beyond. The number of international students has been growing significantly in recent years and we try to provide these with the best training. Worten is the 18th company that joins Técnico Partner Network

The Técnico’s Partner Network continues to grow. It was on December 17th that Worten joined the school’s group of partners. The partnership, made official in a ceremony in a hybrid format, will give rise to several joint initiatives, namely the company’s support for the Logistics Laboratory that is already being created on the Técnico campus in Taguspark.

6 DEI/IST laboratories were renovated with the support of the business sector

More modern, better equipped and more colourful, are the six new laboratories inaugurated on Wednesday, 15th September.

The transformation of these spaces on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Pavilhão de Informática I was only possible thanks to the contribution of Deloitte, SKY, Xpand IT, Sonae MC, Accenture and Novabase/Celfocus.

CA2ECTécnico: Santander rewards projects developed by Student Groups

The exceptional work of Técnico’s Student Groups is once again awarded.

The CA2ECTécnico is a competition that aims to support extracurricular activities promoted by student groups at Instituto Superior Técnico. The CA2ECTécnico awards were delivered this Wednesday, December 15, at Técnico – Alameda campus. 19 projects were supported by Santander Bank worth €20,000.

“Alumni Talks” returned to face-to-face format!

The breakfast that brings together Técnico alumni and students to share a good conversation took over the Salão Nobre, on December 14th.

For about two hours, in an informal environment, students had the opportunity to clarify doubts, ask for advice, exchange opinions and experiences and share stories of what unites them all: the ties to Técnico.
