Technology Transfer Office

Founded in 1911, Instituto Superior Técnico is one of Portugal’s most prestigious and demanding engineering schools, renowned for educating outstanding professionals who go on to hold prominent positions in society. Alongside its strong commitment to education and research, the institution regards its links with industry and Technology Transfer as fundamental pillars of its overall strategy.

To deliver on this vision, the Technology Transfer Office (TT@Técnico) was created in 2009. It oversees intellectual property management, industry relations and the promotion of entrepreneurship, and supports professional development and networking through the Técnico Career Center and the Técnico Alumni platform.
