After 12 days of intense work in this new edition of the EIA (European Innovation Academy – which takes place in Porto from the 17th of July to the 5th of August), more than 125 teams carried out their “Impossible Mission”: presenting ideas in 5 minutes per team.
Técnico students were once again irreproachable in the way they put themselves to work and contributed to the change in mentality necessary to transform ideas into new processes, products and services.
During this event, a meeting was also held, which brought together some of the main international universities to present and discuss best practices in education around entrepreneurship. According to Pedro Amaral, Vice-President for Business Connections, “the Global Entrepreneurship Education Summit is a very important experience that allows higher education institutions to accelerate to create a new generation of students with ambition for innovation, more capable of becoming adapt to the new challenges of society and able to think of ideas as starting points to build the sustainable solutions that the world so desperately needs”.
The EIA 2022, which since its inception has been supported by the Santander Foundation (a partner of Técnico, which supports our students in participating in this event) and the University of Berkeley, will now enter its last working week, the certainty that the formative experience will be transformative for the future lives of all those who were part of this great adventure.
